This course is designed to help the student understand the life and theology of the Christian church. This course is intended to trace (survey) the history of the church from its early days to today. Church History is a study of the church from Pentecost through the twentieth century with emphasis on the development of orthodox and heterodox theology and significant leaders and events.

THEO 505 Introduction to Theology - Dr. Dave Anderson
This is the introductory course in Systematic Theology. It covers the study of prolegomena, the nature, method, and sources of theology, and bibliology, the doctrines of revelation, inspiration, inerrancy, illumination, and theological hermeneutics.
THEO 508 Advance Hermeneutics - Dr. J.B. Hixson
A directed study of the principles of the literal-grammatical-historical (L-G-H) system of biblical interpretation, with guided practice in using those principles in interpreting representative passages.
THEO 600 Soteriology - Dr. Dave Anderson
A systematic and historical study of the doctrine of salvation is presented. A study of the grace of God in salvation including election, the ministry of the Savior in His humiliation and exaltation, the nature and extent of the Atonement, free grace, justification, regeneration, the nature of faith, and eternal security.
THEO 608 Pneumatology & Christology - Dr. J.B. Hixson
Pneumatology: A systematic presentation of the Person and work of the Holy Spirit, including discussion of His deity, personhood, and ministries to unbelievers, and to believers.
Christology: A systematic presentation of the person and work of Christ from eternity as set forth in the Scriptures. A biblical and historical examination of two areas of Christian theology: (1) The doctrine of Christ, including discussion of His full deity, sinless humanity, and His substitutionary atonement and (2) the hypostatic union.
THEO 811 Dispensationalism & Eschatology - J.B. Hixson
Dispensationalism: An introduction to and exposition of the dispensational system of Bible interpretation will be made. Contrasts will be drawn with Covenant Theology and progressive dispensationalism.
Eschatology: An analysis of the biblical teaching concerning last things, including a discussion of the coming of Christ from a premillennial perspective. The students will be given a comprehensive outline of the future events of God’s prophetic program. The major millennial views will be presented along with various views relating to the Rapture. Attention will be given to the unconditional covenants of the Old Testament.
